A useful review should make the use case clear: what the product or category is best for, where it fits, where it does not fit, and what alternatives are worth comparing.
What a review should not invent
SteveFraney.com will not invent star ratings, review counts, prices, testimonials, or firsthand testing claims. If Steve has not confirmed hands-on use, the page should say that plainly and treat the recommendation as buying guidance.
Practical buying advice
Reviews should help Northeast anglers choose gear around real conditions: spring striper surf trips, rainy boat days, August sun, windy fall jetties, small boat electronics, and seasonal packing decisions.
