How to play

Catch five fish before the pail fills

Use the mouse for aiming and quick clicks, or play from the keyboard. Matching a lure to the right depth gives you better odds. Surface fish are quicker and easier; deeper fish take longer, pull harder, and score higher.

  1. Pick a location. Choose one of the three fishing spots; each has five different fish.
  2. Clip on a lure. Bucktails fish bottom, poppers fish surface, and soft eels fish midwater.
  3. Aim and cast. Aim shallow for quick bites or deep for bigger fish and more points.
  4. Set the hook. When the strike window flashes, click or press Space/Enter fast.
  5. Fill the pail. Reel with clicks or R, then drag, click, or press P to drop fish in the pail.
