Five Fish Pail Challenge

Pick a Northeast spot, work the lure, fight the fish, and fill the pail before the tide window closes.

How to play

Catch five fish before the pail fills

Use the mouse for aiming and quick clicks, or play from the keyboard. Matching a lure to the right depth gives you better odds, but every cast can still surprise you.

  1. Pick a location. Choose one of the three fishing spots; each has five different fish.
  2. Clip on a lure. Bucktails fish bottom, poppers fish surface, and soft eels fish midwater.
  3. Aim and cast. Move over the water and click, or aim with WASD/arrow keys and press Space.
  4. Set the hook. When the strike window flashes, click or press Space/Enter fast.
  5. Fill the pail. Reel with clicks or R, then drag, click, or press P to drop fish in the pail.
