If the Patagonia lane is the one you are leaning toward, pick the page by problem instead of starting over at a broad storefront: sun hoodies for hot glare, rain jackets for spray and fronts, waders and boots for wet access, packs and waterproof bags for carry, and cold-weather layers for dawn starts.

For August beach or boat use, start with a hooded sun shirt, hat, sunglasses, gaiter or neck coverage, and light gloves. A good sun layer saves more trips than another duplicate lure.
For fly fishing
